SIL Compliance Gap Assessment
Review existing systems against applicable SIL requirements and identify gaps requiring attention.
SIL compliance & readiness
Specialist compliance and governance support for Supported Independent Living providers navigating the new SIL Practice Standards and mandatory registration requirements.
The regulatory context
From 1 July 2026, Supported Independent Living became subject to new mandatory registration arrangements and new SIL-specific NDIS Practice Standards.
Providers need to consider more than simply having policies in place. Governance systems, workforce practices, evidence, documentation and day-to-day service delivery should demonstrate implementation of the applicable requirements.
Regulatory requirements and dates are current as at the time of publication and may be updated as the arrangements evolve.
Four key areas of the new SIL Practice Standards
Compliance is more than having the right policies. Providers need systems and evidence that demonstrate how those policies operate in practice.
